Natural Balance Dog Food Recall 2012
On May 4, 2012, Natural Balance Pet Foods announced a voluntary recall of some of its dry dog foods due to possible contamination.
According to Natural Balance, no animal illnesses have been reported. And none of the products included in the recall have tested positive for Salmonella.
Natural Balance goes on to assure consumers the voluntarily recall was initiated as a precautionary measure only.

What to Do?
Salmonella is serious business for both you and your pet. So, if you can confirm your dogs food is one of the products being recalled, stop feeding or handling it immediately.
If youve discarded the packaging (something we recommend you never do) or youre in any way in doubt do not take chances. Be safe. Stop feeding or handling the product anyway.

"I absolutely love this product. After thawing it and serving it, you can visibly see the nutrients and the fact that it is human grade food. It looks like food I would eat for lunch. I mix it with kibble since we still are on a budget, however my dog loves it!! She gets a cup of this food and a cup of kibble per meal, and she destroys the wet food before touching the kibble. It's also super easy to use in a slow feeder or puzzle feeder! It has also helped my dog with her energy levels, and overall she's more energetic and ready for the day with this food. 11/10 would recommend and would buy again!!!"
